State’s CARES Act

State that pertains to COVID-19
•Menifee has funded three rounds of Menifee CARES
Grant with these funds, funding 53 businesses

•Private for-profit
•Business must reside in Menifee
•Have less than 15 Employees
•Have experienced financial hardship as a result of
COVID-19

Staff Recommendation
Approve Round 4 of the Menifee CARES Small Business Relief Grant,
as part of the Menifee FORWARD initiative, in the amount of
$150,000, utilizing the Menifee CARES funding allocation to assist
the Menifee business community during the COVID-19 pandemic with
the latest stay at home order.
