•Public Safety total base salary:
•The annual fiscal impact of a one percent (1%)salary increase toswornpersonnelis$59,644,based on actual salaries.The maximum
impact could be $65,660 if all employees were at the top step of the
salary ranges.
•There is no request for an increase in appropriations for Fiscal Year20-21,as the amount budgeted for additional pay items (such asspecialassignment,etc.)is $100,000,however the projected cost ofadditionalpaysislessthan$40,000 so there is available budget fortheproposedsalaryincrease.
