Housing Element
•State requires Housing Element (HE) updates every
eight years
•The HE is the only General Plan Element that
requires review and certification by HCD
•City adopted the HE February 5, 2014
•HCD approved the HE March 5, 2014
•Annual reporting for HE is required at the same
time as the General Plan APR
