Dear Menife City Council Members
I have been a Menifee resident for over 23 years and I LOVE our community! I am grateful
for all the planning that has gone into our community to make it great! However, I supportCity Staff recommendation to exclude Warehouses from the EDC
in the City Center and the Southern Gateway. They are appropriate for the EDC in the Northon Ethanac.
For the following reasons I oppose warehouses in EDC-CC and EDC-SG:
1. Warehouses do NOT generate Sales Tax Revenue for the city
2. Massive Traffic on Newport/Scott Road from the large 18 wheel trucks. 3. Truck Traffic from Warehouses destroy our Menifee City roads
4. Warehouses create fewer jobs as compared to offices, business park, retail, commercialand light industrial.
5. Warehouses create lower paying jobs as compared to other uses
I would rather retail outlets, professional business parks, medical offices. other dining
opportunities that would create more sales tax revenue, jobs and more services for ourresidents of Menifee.
