BRADLEY BRIDGE over Salt Creek
On average, Bradley Road is closed 3 days a year due to flooding...To solve this problem, the City of Menifee proposes to build a bridge...
Construction of the bridge will shutdown Bradley Road for 18 months...
18 months!!! Talk about the cure being worse than the disease....
The City of Menifee is going to prevent Bradley Road from closing,
BY CLOSING BRADLEY ROAD !!!
As an added "bonus", the Salt Creek bike trail will also be closed at
Bradley Road
and will eventually be rerouted up to Potomac Drive...
If you think the folks at Newport Plaza were upset by a raised median,
wait 'til they realize Bradley Road will be closed for 18 months...
I believe they will go ballistic...
At this time, the public seems to be overwhelmingly in favor of a bridge,
as they are unaware of the consequences...
18 months of construction, inconvenience, detours, slower emergency
response times, and a closed bike path...
When the Menifinians wake up, many are going to be furious...
Construction of a bridge doesn't make sense.....
