Many if not all of the services provided by “TIP” are services allready provided by the private sector. There are dozens of
charities who allready reach out or provide treatment for the victims listed under the “TIP” mission.
If citizens of Menifee truly wanted these services, they could be found in the private sector.
Contributing $30,000 to “TIP” is showing government favorability to a nonprofit entity when there are dozens of other
nonprofits who are arguably also deserving.
The government should not show favorability and choosing winners and losers in the private sector.
Are the leaders of “TIP” friends with members of the council?
Are our leaders peer pressured from the rest of its SouthWest county cities?
Why this program? Why this service? Are there deeper personal ties?
On a side note, Sometimes Menifee should stand alone and not be entangled in every regional tie.
We are new, better, best.
We do not want to be Temecula or Murrietta.
People are exhausted with the growth and traffic.
People miss their family friendly community.
$30,000 dollars of Menifee public tax dollars belong only to Menifee.
The city is spending money on services allready available. Save the tax dollars.
