I would like to know what the board is doing about school? I understand that Perris Unified has made the
decision to keep schools closed.. which is ridiculous but fine. What I want as a parent is for my son to have a
real graduation at Paloma Valley High School which should go on. There is no scientific reasoning for not
having the graduation, so many things have already been taken from this senior class. Paloma is allowing for
sports so why wouldn’t they be able to move forward with a formal graduation with all precautions in place.
Menifee numbers are down, hospitalization are down and again the CDC has stated there is no reason for
schools not to be open. I understand the unions are driving this and again fine, but don’t take graduation away
from a senior class that has already been stripped of everything that they deserve. I think the city of Menifee
needs to be more hands on and if the board isn’t going to fight for our kids I would like to think that the city
will fight forf them.
