2009/07/21 Riverside, County FY12 Law Enforcement Amendment 1 2 r 3 FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES BETWEEN COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE AND CITY OF MENIFEE IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED that the Agreement for Law Enforcement Services between the County of Riverside, a political subdivision of the State of California, on behalf of its Sheriff's Department, and the City of Menifee, a General Law City, approved by the Board of Supervisors on July 21, 2009, for services effective July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2012, is hereby amended in the following respects, and all other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect: 1. Attachment A is amended to read as follows: ATTACHMENT A CITY OF MENIFEE LEVEL OF SERVICE Average Patrol Services 120 supported hours per day. All costs for this service will be recovered through Board-approved rates. County Counsel has approved the Amendment as to form. As with other recent modifications to law enforcement contract service levels, staff is not recommending the creation of an additional position in the Sheriffs Department to fulfill this contractual duty; rather, the Department is recommending the use of a previously frozen position.
