VACATION OF A PORTION OF NEWPORT ROAD (VAC 17-005)
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
Being all of Lot 'D', of Parcel Map No. 33703, as filed in Book 236, Pages73 through 75,
inclusive of Parcel Maps, Records of the County of Riverside, State of California, lying within
Section 36, Township 5 South, Range 3 West, San Bernardino Meridian, more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most southwesterly most corner of Parcel 3 as shown on said Parcel Map
No. 33703, said point lying on the Southerly right-of-way line of the re -aligned Newport Road
(76' half width per said Parcel Map), also being on the northerly line of said Lot 'D';
Thence from said point of beginning, easterly along the southerly line of said Parcel 3, South
89°28'51" East, a distance of 704.03 feet to the most northeasterly corner of said Lot'D'. Said
point also being a point on the northerly right-of-way line of the old Newport Road (80.00 feet in
width per said Parcel Map, said right-of-way line being 50 feet northerly and parallel with,
measured at right angles from the centerline of said old Newport Road);
Thence leaving said northerly right-of-way line, South 00°31'09" West, a distance of 50.00 feet
to the centerline of said old Newport Road. Said point also being 73.02 feet distant (North
89028'51" West) from the South Quarter Corner of Section 36, Township 5 South, Range 3
West S.B.M.;
Thence westerly along said centerline, North 89028'51" West, a distance of 859.68 feet to a
non -tangent curve concave northerly having a radius of 2076.00 feet, a radial line to the
beginning of said curve bears South 15°01'58" East. Said point also being the intersection of
said centerline of old Newport Road and said southerly right-of-way line of the re -aligned
Newport Road;
Thence easterly along said southerly right-of-way line 163.53 feet along said curve through a
central angle of 04030'48", to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 0.89 Acres, more or less.
