Working jointly with the Crime Prevention Officer and Park Rangers they are making contact with homeless in the city and assisting them with getting vital documents, housing vouchers, medical assistance, shelter, etc. They continue to case manage many of the chronically homeless in the area by seeking Menifee Public Safety Report - Park Rangers Park Ranger Career Day The Menifee Park Rangers were invited to participate at career day at the Santa Rosa Academy. The Rangers shared with students about the variety of career paths in the field of natural resource preservation and protection. The Ranger booth was visited by many students who are interested in nature and how to make a full time job of exploring the outdoors. The Rangers spoke with the students about helpful courses of study and degrees that will be helpful to aquiring a job in this field. On display were a full complement of the interpretive items the Rangers use to teach about local wildlife and promote stewardship of the lands, resources and areas of historical significance.
