Park Ranger Career Day
The Menifee Park Rangers were invited to participate at career day at the Santa
Rosa Academy. The Rangers shared with students about the variety of career
paths in the field of natural resource preservation and protection. The Ranger
booth was visited by many students who are interested in nature and how to
make a full time job of exploring the outdoors. The Rangers spoke with the
students about helpful courses of study and degrees that will be helpful to
aquiring a job in this field. On display were a full complement of the
interpretive items the Rangers use to teach about local wildlife and promote
stewardship of the lands, resources and areas of historical significance.
