Additionally, we are the second lowest in the Region (tied with  Murrieta and trailing only Wildomar). We have also suceeded in reducing our reported chronic  homeless population in half from 2018. While the PIT numbers are only a small sampling of the  overall picture of homelessness these numbers help to reflct the ongoing sucess of the Menifee  Homeless Task Force and our partners.    Menifee Public Safety Report ‐ Park Rangers Outreach with SWAG Mar (Working Days)Visits to Services Total Hours Rangers Samson and Ingraham 5 5 29 SWAG Assistance  March April  May New Clients 377 Housing Intake 2 6 4 Vital Documents  6 5 7 Emergency Shelter 043 Transportation/Bus Passes 7 15 16 Calls to APS 1 5 6 Calls to Cares Line  0 0 2 Veteran Services 0 0 0 Medical Services 2 3 3 Mental Health Services 6 5 5 Substance Abuse Outpatient  0 0 0 Substance Abuse Residential Progra 000 Housing Program Referrals 0 0 1 Permanent Housing 1 1 0 Category March April  May New Registrations ‐ R 19 14 18 New Registrations ‐ NR 0 0 3 Participant Visits ‐ R 100 85 122 Paid Day Pass ‐ R 000 Paid Day Pass ‐ NR 000 First Visit Fee Waiver 19 25 28 Skate Park Operations  Social Worker Action Group (SWAG) continues working within the City of Menifee  every Thursday and Friday. Working jointly with the Crime Prevention Officer and Park  Rangers they are making contact with homeless in the city and assisting them with  getting vital documents, housing vouchers, medical assistance, shelter, etc.  They  continue to case manage many of the chronically homeless in the area by seeking  innovative solutions to each individual’s needs.
