Rangers had an interpretive talk with Boy Scout troop 385; that had 30 people in attendance. Outreach Success Ezekiel,a transient recognized by many throughout Menifee, was placed into permanent supportive care and housing. The outreach team has had numerous contacts with Ezekiel over the past 12 months and worked closely with County agencies to get emergency housing and services which lead to a permanent housing placement. Working jointly with the Crime Prevention Officer and Park Rangers they are making contact with homeless in the city and assisting them with getting vital documents, housing vouchers, medical assistance, shelter, etc. They continue to case manage many of the chronically homeless in the area by seeking innovative solutions to each individual’s needs.
