Homeless Alliance email with docsGood morning Sarah,
I have attached two documents for the Menifee Public Safety Committee
meeting next month:
* The resolution that we are bringing forward to the 5 cities in
SW Riverside County
o The purpose of bringing this forward at the Public Safety Committee
meeting is to get the Committee to review and recommend that the City
Council adopt and sign on.
* The Charter document of the Regional Homeless Alliance that is
the founding document, and list out what the RHA will do.
Please let me know if any backup information is needed for a staff
report.
We’ll definitely have some members of the team at the Committee
meeting.
Thanks!

Hey Sarah,
Hope you’re doing well. Sorry I didn’t have time to stop by and say hi
when we were there today.
We’re circulating the draft resolution, and should have the final
version in the next few days. When is the next Public Safety Committee
meeting?
Thanks,

Subject: Public Safety Committee Agenda Item
Hello Sarah,
Rob, Gina, and I had a meeting today regarding a Homeless Task Force
which Menifee will now be a part of. In attendance were, Brian Ambrose
(Assistant City- Manager of Murrieta), Robin Gilliland (Recreation
Supervisor/Sister City Liaison of Temecula), and Steve Falk (Director,
Community Mission of Hope). The taskforce is composed of several
neighboring cities that have come together in efforts to solve the
Homeless problem each one of our cities encounters.
The Task force is currently drafting a Resolution that they hope will
be adopted by all member cities’ Council. Rob suggested to add to the
next Public Safety Committee Meeting a presentation by Mr. Falk who will
present the Resolution. The committee would also be asked to consider
recommending to council the adoption of the resolution. However, if the
resolution is not ready in time to be presented at our next meeting, it
can be added to the October meeting. Brian Ambrose should be able to
weigh in on this last part regarding timing.
I’ve copied everyone present at the meeting to better coordinate this
process.
Thank you in advance,
Andres Medrano
