PW reportPublic Safety Commission Meeting Meeting Date: 10/10/17 Traffic Items (Since September 12, 2017): 1. OPERATIONS a) Updated all clearance timing in the City to be CA MUTCD compliant for pedestrian walk times and yellow times. b) Several timing adjustments made at various intersections to improve operations. 2. LANE STRIPING a) On -Call Contractor completed lane refresh striping on the following streets: 1. Mapes Road -all 2. Watson Road -all 3. Antelope Road between Mapes Road to HWY 74 4. Palomar Road between Mapes Road to Mathews Road 5. Menifee Road between Mapes Road to Scott Road 6. Antelope Road between Newport Road to Scott Road 7. Haun Road between Newport Road to Scott Road 8. Murrieta Road to Scott Road to Holland Road 9. The remainder will consist of street legends and the addition of Raised Pavement Markers (RPMs) to the streets n/o HWY 74 in the Romoland area. All work to be completed by the end of this month. 3. STREET SIGNAGE a) A total of 85 traffic street signs have been either changed out, repaired or installed new. 4. SCHOOLS a) We have made some modifications on work orders for the striping contractor to complete, this work will be completed within the next couple of weeks. b) Provided recommendations on school circulation at Hans Christenson Middle School c) Provided recommendations on school circulation at Boulder Ridge Elementary 5. MISCELLANOUS a) Repaired 3 guardrail sections at: 1. Rouse/Bradley 2. Holland/Sherman 3. Tupelo/Sherman b) Installed Traffic Signal fiber optic line on Newport Road between Laguna Vista Dr to Menifee Road.
