SIGNIFICANT INCIDENTS:
August 7, 2017 One chief officer, two engines, and one truck responded to a traffic collision with major injuries on Encanto Dr. North of Shadel Rd. The vehicle had been traveling North
on I-215 when it left the roadway and rolled multiple times onto Encanto Dr. Both patients were transported to local area hospitals.
August 13, 2017 One chief officer, five engines, and one truck responded to a residential structure fire on the 36000 block of Sweetwater Canyon Road. The first arriving engine company
arrived to find a doublewide mobile home with smoke and fire showing. An aggressive fire attack, and coordinated ventilation operation was initiated by the first alarm resources. The
fire caused major fire and smoke damage throughout the residence.
August 28, 2017 two engines responded to a reported traffic collision rollover on Newport East of Calle Tomas. The first arriving engine company found a vehicle on its roof. The vehicle
had struck a fire hydrant and the water was shooting into the power lines above the hydrant. East bound Newport was closed due to life safety until Edison and EMWD could mitigate the
hazard.

STATION ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS:
Station Tours:
Station 76 conducted 4 station tours that had a total of 22 public contacts.
Other Events:
Station 5 instructed the Public CPR class at Kay Ceniceros Senior Center
City units attended the Creamistry Grand Opening.
Station 76 hosted and assisted with the instruction of the Menifee CERT training class.
