SIGNIFICANT INCIDENTS: • 9/17/18 One Battalion Chief, Four Engines, One Medic Patrol, and One Truck responded to a reported residential structure fire at the 26000 block of Trumble Rd. Fire was aggressively and quickly contained to construction material within the living room of a home in renovation. Home suffered smoke damage due to fire. No injuries reported. • 9/4/18 One Battalion Chief and Three Engines responded to a reported traffic accident versus and power pole near Bundy Canyon Rd. and Debon St. Powerlines were down causing four small vegetation fires. The victim in traffic accident had no injuries. 12 homes were effected by power outage for 10 hours. SCE responded. Fires were quickly contained. No injuries reported. 4. STATION ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS: Defensible Space Inspections • Station 7 conducted 27 defensible space re-inspections. • Station 68 conducted 10 defensible space re-inspections. Station Tours/Events: • Station 5 conducted 2 school education events with 100+ public contacts. • Station 7 conducted a dynamic display and participated in fair expo with 300+ contacts. • Station 68 conducted 2 station tours and 1 school event with 25+ public contacts. • Station 76 conducted 1 station tour, 2 educational programs, and participated in fair expo with 400+ contacts Other Events: • Promotional Dinner for Firefighter Hauer (E68) to Fire Engineer in San Luis leaving Menifee after 8 Years of Service. • Assisted City of Temecula with Garrison Flag display for 9/11 event. • Participated in Freedom Car Show with HANDS ONLY CPR demonstrations to the public. • Participated in Menifee 1st Annual Emergency Preparedness Fair. • Taught City of Menifee Staff on proper fire extinguisher use.
