Social Worker Action Group (SWAG) continues working within the City of
Menifee every Wednesday and Friday. Working jointly with the Crime
Prevention Officer and Park Rangers they are making contact with
homeless in the city and assisting them with getting vital documents,
housing vouchers, medical assistance, shelter, etc. They continue to case
manage many of the chronically homeless in the area by seeking creative
solutions to each individual’s needs.

Code Enforcement Training
Park Ranger Samson recently attended the Californina Associtation of
Code Enforcement Officers (CASEO) Module 1 class which was hosted by
the City of Menifee at the Kay Ceneseros Building. The 40 hour Basic
course covered the basic foundation and principles of Code Enforcement.
Topics included Field Activities, Basic Inspections, Case Documentation,
Officer Safety, Building & Property Maintenance Violations, Land Use,
Health & Safety, Legal Aspects, Ethics & Professionalism and Customer
Service. Utilizing the training from CACEO Ranger Samson can better
integrate with Code Enforcemnt activities throughtout the City.
