The first arriving engine company reported smoke coming from a double wide modular home. A quick aggressive fire attack, and coordinated ventilation operation was initiated by the first alarm resources. The fire was contained to a portion of the vacant structure. August 30, 2018 One chief officer, 4 engines, one medic patrol, and one ladder truck responded to a residential structure fire on El Puente Street. The first arriving engine company reported an outside fire spreading into the single-family residences on both sides. An aggressive fire attack, and coordinated ventilation operation was initiated by the first alarm resources. The fire was contained to an exterior fire with some fire damage to the eaves and garage attic spaces of the two residencies. Menifee City Fire units assisted with the Holly fire near Lake Elsinore and the Keller Fire just south of the Menifee City boundary during the month of August.   INSPECTIONS: Station 5 conducted 10 defensible space re-inspections. Station 7 conducted 12 defensible space re-inspections. Station 68 conducted 30 defensible space inspections.
