SIGNIFICANT INCIDENTS: • 5/18/2018 One chief officer, and two engines responded to a reported child drowning call on the 25000 block of Wildview road. The 3 y/o patient was found by family and friends face down in the pool for an unknow time. The patient was transported to Riverside University Health Systems Hospital by Air Ambulance. Upon arrival to the hospital the patient was breathing, interacting, and showing signs of improvement. 4. STATION ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS: School and Education Event Programs: • Engine 54 participated in the leadership day at Romoland Elementary School • Station 68 hosted 100 students form Ridgemore Elementary school for a fire prevention event • Truck 76 participated in the lunch with a firefighter at South Shore Elementary School • Engine and Truck 76 participated in a public safety presentation at Freedom Crest Elementary school • Truck 76 participated in a career day presentation at Bolder Ridge Elementary School Station Tours: • Fire Station 7 conducted 5 station tours with a total of 83 contacts • Fire Station 76 conducted 2 station tours with total of 15 contacts Other Events: • Engine 5 participated in the Senior Health, and Wellness fair at Kay Ceniceros • Menifee firefighters instructed the community CPR / First aid class for 17 students at Kay Ceniceros Senior Center • Truck 76 participated in the VFW Memorial Day event at Wheatfield Park Defensible Space inspections: • Fire Station 5 conducted 327 weed abatement inspections Riverside County Fire / CAL-FIRE Serving the City of Menifee Monthly Report Riverside County Fire / CAL-FIRE Serving the City of Menifee Monthly Report 5.
