SIGNIFICANT INCIDENTS: • April 9, 2018 One chief officer, five engines, one medic patrol, and one ladder truck responded to a residential structure fire on Carmel Road. The first arriving engine company reported smoke coming from the single-story residence. A quick aggressive fire attack, and coordinated ventilation operations was initiated by the first alarm resources. The fire was contained to one bedroom and a portion of the hallway. Red Cross was requested to assist two adults displaced by the fire. • April 28, 2018 One chief officer, two engines, one medic patrol, and one ladder truck responded to a reported Traffic Collision on Scott Road and Trucker Court. The first arriving engine company reported three vehicles involved. Three patients were transported to area hospitals. • April 28, 2018 One chief officer, one engine, and one ladder truck responded to a reported traffic collision with extrication at the intersection of Menifee Road and Lake Fork Drive. The first arriving unit reported a single vehicle with major damage. Truck 76 initiated rescue and extrication to free the single victim form the vehicle. The patient was transported to a local area hospital. STATION ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS: School and Education Event Programs: • Station 54 conducted one school event in the City of Menifee with a total of 60 contacts. • Station 68 conducted one adult education event with a total of 40 contacts. • Station 76 conducted one Adult Education event with a total of 40 contacts. Station Tours: Station 7 conducted 2 station tours that had a total of 52 public contacts. Other Events: • Engine 76 and Truck 76 Homes for our Troops landscaping day for Cpl. John Smith. • Engine 68 and Truck 76 conducted a Fire Safety Presentation at the Revival Church. • Truck 76 conducted a CPR Demonstration at the Palmilla HOA. • City Stations participated in the Menifee Better Together and the Quail Valley Cleanup . • Engine 5 attended the Quail Valley Community Fair.
