SIGNAL / STOP OPERATIONS
Diagnosed and repaired 3 signal malfunctions:
Goetz / Rock Canyon – on flashing red
Canyon Lake Drive North / Goetz – on flash
Murrieta / Murphy Ranch – long wait
Reviewed PM congestion on Bundy Canyon at Murrieta, Murrieta at Park City
LANE STRIPING
Issued work order for new two-way left turn lane on Holland: Alta Mira - Murphy
Issued work order for County to install rpm’s along 3 rural roads (Mapes: Sherman to Briggs, Briggs n/o Mathews, Briggs n/o Garbani)
Review/evaluate demonstration of wet beads striping at night - for future use
STREET SIGNAGE
Installed all way stop control on Mapes / Antelope, Mapes / Briggs with County
Issued work order for all way stop control on Murphy Ranch / Rustlers and on Holland / Mountain Cliff – schedule pending for weather
Installed Neighborhood WATCH signs for Westlink and Menifee Lakes
SCHOOLS
Completed installation of new striping to relieve congestion at 11 stop sign locations
Reviewed am arrival and pm dismissal at 5 school sites for improved flow and safety
Reviewed am and pm circulation at Heritage High School
SPEED RADAR TRAILERS
Deployed Speed Trailers on:
San Rafael
El Puente
McCall e/o Aqua, McCall w/o Oakhurst
Rio Vista
Reported 2 Police Traffic Enforcement issues for follow-up/monitoring
Conducted new speed survey to establish lower speed limit on: Tres Lagos, Trumble
MISCELLANOUS
Review 5 visibility issues: 1) at Mathews / Palomar and issued work order for trimming tree red curbing and 2) visibility issue at San Rafael / Madera – illegally parked trailer on corner
blocking view and 3) Rouse/ Encanto – Mortuary trim hedge and 4) McCall / Aqua – trim shrubs in median and 5) Murrieta / La Piedra – trim trees
Reviewed accident locations for corrective patterns at:
Goetz: Newport to Rock Canyon
Goetz / Canyon Lake Drive North
