A quick aggressive fire attack, and coordinated ventilation operations was initiated by the first alarm resources. The fire was contained to a dryer with no extension to the remainder of the building. City Fire Marshal’s Office and City Building and Safety were notified and responded due to code violations. March 27, 2018 One chief officer, four engines, one medic patrol, and one ladder truck responded to a residential structure fire on Cedar River Ct. The first arriving engine company reported a single-family residence with light smoke showing. An aggressive fire attack, and coordinated ventilation operation was initiated by the first alarm resources. The fire was contained to an exterior fire involving a fence and extending into the eves. There was smoke damage to the garage but no fire extension into the residence. / STATION ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS: School and Education Event Programs: Station 54 conducted one school event in the City of Menifee with a total of 60 contacts. Station 68 conducted one adult education event with a total of 40 contacts. Station 76 conducted one adult education event with a total of 50 contacts. Station Tours: Station 7 conducted 2 station tours that had a total of 15 public contacts. Other Events: Engine 76 and Truck 76 conducted fire extinguisher training at the Oasis Senior Living Community. City stations participated in the Menifee Spring Festival.
