AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MENIFEE,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2.30, SECTION 080 OF THE
MENIFEE MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING THE TIME, DATE, AND
LOCATION OF REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE PARKS, RECREATION
AND TRAILS COMMISSION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MENIFEE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Menifee has directed staff to produce appropriate
resolutions and ordinances to memorialize a policy of not holding meetings of the City Council,
City commissions, and City committee's during the month of July
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Menifee does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 080 of Chapter 2.30 "Parks, Recreation and Trails Commission" of Title 2
"Administration and Personnel" of the Menifee Municipal Code is hereby amended to read in its
entirety as follows:
"§ 2.30.080 Time, Date and Location of Regular Meetings
The regular meetings of the Parks, Recreation, and Trails Commission shall be
held at 6:00 p.m., on the first and third Thursdays of each month, (unless the same shall
be a legal holiday, in which case the regular meeting shall be held on the next succeeding
day or on another day as determined by the Commission and posted) at the City Hall at
29714 Haun Road, Menifee, CA 92586; provided, however, that no regular meetings shall
take place in the month of July. Any future changes or modifications to the Commission
meetings times, dates, and locations may be accomplished by adoption of a resolution of
the City Council."
SECTION 2. Except as set forth in Section 1 of this Ordinance, Chapter 2.30"Parks, Recreation
and Trails Commission" of Title 2 "Administration and Personnel" of the Menifee Municipal Code
remains unchanged and in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance No. 2015-172 is hereby adopted in accordance with all procedures
set forth in Government Code Section 50022.2-50022.7 and in accordance with all other
procedures required to adopt or re-adopt existing provisions of law by reference.
SECTION 8. Severability. If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity or
unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the remaining portions of this
ordinance, it being expressly declared that this ordinance and each section, subsection,
paragraph, sentence, clause and phrase thereof would have been adopted, irrespective of the
fact that one or more other section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase be
declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 4. If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance
is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall
not affect the validity or constitutionality of the remaining portions of this ordinance, it being

expressly declared that this ordinance and each section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause
and phrase thereof would have been adopted, irrespective of the fact that one or more other
section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase be declared invalid or
unconstitutional.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days from the date of its adoption or June 20,
2015, whichever is later. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause
the same to be posted as required by law.
