The purpose of this report is to provide a site specific analysis of the minimum footing
requirements for the photovoltaic array groundtrac installation at 27710 Goetz Road
in Menifee, CA 92587.
Based upon our review of the 1 Photovoltaic Array, installed 2 modules high and 9
modules wide. The PV Array shall have a transverse spacing of approximately 6.92 feet
on center and a longitudinal spacing of 7.00 feet maximum. Based upon a wind speed
of 100 mph, Exposure C, it was determined that the minimum required footing depth is
30 inches minimum below grade for a 12 inch diameter pier footing. The footing sizes are
based upon the worst case loading due to horizontal and vertical wind loading.
