rebuilding/repairing the damaged decl4ps ��d�°s�det�iat prior to re-building the deck,the remaining
damaged wood will be removed and the wood that remains will be chemically treated to repel further
infestation. It is important that the method demonstrated in the enclosed drawing/details is closely
followed to insure the safety of the finished deck.
I have included calculations to justify my design. In addition, I have included a framing
plan and structural cross-section to demonstrate the needed repair elements. Should you have any
questions, you may contact me at the numbers below. I will out of my office the week of April 200'
until April 28o.
